About Timmins Construction

Built on more than 20 years of hands-on carpentry experience Timmins Construction brings quality craftsmanship, practical building knowledge and direct project leadership to homes across the Saanich Peninsula.

Our Story

Timmins Construction was built on a deep respect for craftsmanship and a commitment to building homes that are practical, durable and thoughtfully finished. With more than 20 years of experience as a Red Seal carpenter, Noah Timmins has worked on renovations, custom homes and residential construction projects across British Columbia.

His experience has taken him from Kitimat and Bowen Island to the Comox Valley, the Gulf Islands and other coastal communities throughout BC, shaping a hands-on approach grounded in problem-solving, attention to detail and practical West Coast building knowledge

Today, Timmins Construction is based on the Saanich Peninsula, providing general contracting and residential construction services throughout Sidney, Central Saanich, North Saanich and surrounding Greater Victoria communities.

From renovations and custom homes to secondary suites, multi-unit housing and structural carpentry, Noah remains closely involved throughout each project, with a focus on clear communication, quality workmanship and building spaces that stand the test of time.

Planning a Project on the Saanich Peninsula?

Every successful project starts with a clear plan. We take the time to understand your goals, budget and priorities, then keep communication straightforward throughout construction. Whether you’re planning a renovation, custom home or multi-unit project, we’re here to help you understand the next steps.

What is your process for starting a construction project?
We start with a conversation about your project, priorities, budget and timeline. From there, we review the scope, planning requirements and next steps before construction begins. Once work is underway, we stay closely involved and keep communication clear throughout the project.
What areas does Timmins Construction serve?
Timmins Construction serves the Saanich Peninsula, including Sidney, Central Saanich, North Saanich, Brentwood Bay and Saanichton, as well as select projects in surrounding Greater Victoria communities.
What types of residential projects do you take on?
We work on home renovations, additions, custom and spec homes, secondary and garden suites, small-scale multi-unit housing, framing and structural carpentry.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Timmins Construction is fully licensed and insured, giving clients confidence that their project is being handled professionally and responsibly. Noah is also a Red Seal carpenter with more than 20 years of hands-on construction experience across British Columbia.
How do you handle budgets, changes and unexpected costs?
We aim to establish a clear scope and budget before construction begins. If conditions change or additional work is required, we discuss the options and associated costs before moving forward whenever possible.
Can I see examples of previous projects or speak with past clients?
Yes. You can view completed renovations and new builds on our Projects page, and references can be provided for appropriate projects.
